In New Caladonia – Building production facilities.
New Caladonia is a small group of islands in the Pacific Ocean east of Australia. Like many other islands, there is a large amount of cardboard waste and paper waste. At the same time, there is a need for insulation due to rising temperatures in the summer and cool temperatures in the winter.
Production plant for the fabrication of cellulose insulation can be built into a container solution, so it is easy to transport and install. In the picture, the installation is underway.

In action
Both cardboard and paper were used to manufacture cellulose insulation in New Caladonia. The plant is installed in a small warehouse with space for raw materials, additives and finished materials.
Production plant management
The production plant is controlled via a touch screen mounted on the container. The plant can be set in relation to a number of parameters.
These can be:
- the quality of the raw materials
- speed
- humidity
- dust separation
- staffing
- fiber size
- mixing ratio
and much more.
The plant can also be controlled remotely, which means that we can assist with setting the plant and correcting any error messages.

Construction of production facilities
The system consists of a number of components that are assembled on site. Before the system is shipped, it is thoroughly tested in Denmark at our factory.
